EVAN WALKER BRIDGE MAINTENANCE

AWS were engaged by CityWide Infrastructure to structurally stabilise the foot bridge slats that run horizontally across the bridge. AWS gladly accepted the challenge and set up a barge and scaffolding system to enable works to be completed in a safe and efficient manner.
AWS were nominated to upgrade and redesigned the roundabout at Federation Square, to not only allow small vehicles but also large vehicles through which increases the traffic flow. AWS demolished and excavated existing concrete & asphalt at the roundabout, we then supplied and installed new concrete curbing and hot mix asphalt at approximately 30mm depth on the surface. We also built a round concrete plant box on the base of the roundabout and applied polyurethane membrane to waterproof it. At the final stage we landscaped with low maintenance evergreen vegetation.

FLUME PIPES CONSTRUCTION & PROTECTIVE COATINGS

AWS performed Flume pipe construction and protective coatings for a completed project. The works involved, the use of scaffolding to enable our team to prepare the surface with abrasive blasting and to finalise the job AWS applied specialised primers & polyurea coating.
AWS SERVICES were engaged to assess and remove faulty expansion joints at the iconic Federation Square in Melbourne. On determining the correct product and a fit for purpose solution, we installed a variety of expansion joints across the site to suit the required expansion and contraction needs of the site.

We at AWS, aim to provide the finest civil asphalt services to our clients. Our technicians are trained in the latest technology that is available to handle large scale projects. Being the experts of asphalt works, our knowledge, quality workmanship, skill, and superior customer service enables us to strive for excellence in every project.
AWS were selected to repair the stress cracks to the road barrier system. All works were required to be completed outside of business hours where we used an epoxy injection resin for repair. All works were completed on time and on budget.

M80 ROAD BARRIER RESTORATION

Concrete Drainage Construction

AWS were requested to build a 100mm thick concrete drainage reinforced with steel mesh. The works included applying Fortecon & Geotextile membranes, installing steel mesh and timber formwork and finally the pouring & finishing work on the concrete.
AWS Services performed a rebuild of the storm water pipework and stabilisation of the existing pit. We also line the pit with a protective coating to prolong the assets life.
